Shadow Spider

Some art and character designs for a Story I made based on Spider-Man. the Premise is that Spider-Man is an entirely different person with a different style, and all of the concepts for many of Spider-Man’s Allies and Villains are flipped to be the opposite allignment, or just radically different somehow.

Shadow Spider, the Main Character. After getting bitten by a radioactive Spider during a College tour at the Baxter Building, Tai Takahashi gains incredible powers and begins using them to help people in need.
The Main Spidey Crew. This group consists of: Tai Takahashi, a Japanese-American engineering student who Moonlights as Shadow Spider. Jay White, Computer Science Major, Super Athelete, and Tai’s Childhood friend. Harley Osborn, Daughter of a CEO, arrogant Engineering Genius, and the only member unaware of Tai’s Secret Identity.

The Secondary Spidey crew. This group Consists of Selena Osborn: the genius head of Oscorp, Octavia Choe: The Oscorp Engineering Director and future Doc Ock, and Liz Allen: Childhood friend of Tai Takahashi, and Jay White.

Jay White is Ace the Task Master. Using his Photographic reflexes Jay became a Martial arts prodigy at a young age and is the sole reason Tai knows how to fight. When Tai gained his powers Jay dawned his own costume in order to act as backup in case Tai needed it. Since Jay knows Tai’s Fighting style Jay can beat him with minimal effort despite not having powers himself.
Harley Osborn is Miasma. Unlike Complex whose host and symbiote are essentially of one mind. Miasma remains semi independent from Harley with the two different individuals working to compliment each other. Miasma The Symbiote is a naive and soft-spoken creature who has decided to live in peace with humans as opposed to preying on them. Miasma also has the unique ability to split off and act independently from her host within a short distance. she takes on a weaker, less solid form while doing so and only has the one black eye.
A cover I Made for what I Plan to be the First issue of Shadow Spider’s Graphic Novel.
